National
Protests erupt across the country as DHS escalates their operations.
Uprisings in Los Angeles have escalated with the deployment of the National Guard by Trump against CA Gov wishes.
Other demonstrations this weekend happened in San Francisco, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Minneapolis, NYC, and more!
Migrant detainees at Krome detention center in Miami, Florida have also been protesting the horrific conditions there.
Trump has instituted a new travel ban affecting foreign nationals outside the US from: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen, while imposing partial restrictions on travelers from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
Illinois
JB Pritzker will take part in an oversight committee hearing for Sanctuary State Governors on Thursday, June 12th at 9am CST. Governors Tim Walz (MN) and Kathy Hochul (NY) will also be present.

Chicago
Wednesday, we saw around a dozen of our neighbors detained at ICE Check-Ins in the South Loop. Rapid Response teams were activated and demonstrators showed up downtown to protest what was happening. The SWG sent an email out on Thursday to our email list detailing what happened and the current calls to action.
